How to Play
SuperFusionGrid is a strategic puzzle game where you merge colored cubes to create higher levels and achieve the ultimate Epic Cube!
🎯 Basic Gameplay
Drag cubes in any direction to merge matching colors. Each merge creates a higher-level cube and adds to your score.
🔗 Chain Combos
Create multiple merges in quick succession to build chain combos and multiply your score!
⭐ Epic Cubes
Reach the highest level to create Epic Cubes. Collect 4 connected Epic Cubes to clear the board for massive points!
💪 Power-Ups
Earn power-ups by creating Epic Cubes: Color Removal to clear all cubes of one color, or Bomb to blast a 3x3 area.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I undo a move?
A: You earn undo charges by creating Epic Cubes. Tap the undo button (↶) below the grid to reverse your last move. Check the counter to see how many undos you have available.
Q: What are the power-ups and how do I use them?
A: You earn power-ups by creating Epic Cubes:
- Color Removal (🎨): Click to activate, then select a cube to remove all cubes of that color
- Bomb (💣): Click to activate, then select a position to clear a 3x3 area
Q: Can I move cubes diagonally?
A: Yes! You can toggle between Normal mode (4-way movement) and Easy mode (8-way diagonal movement) using the direction indicator at the top of the screen.
Q: What happens when I create 4 connected Epic Cubes?
A: Creating 4 Epic Cubes in a connected group triggers a board clear! All non-locked cubes are removed, you earn 5,000 bonus points, and gameplay continues with a fresh start.
Q: How do I customize the colors?
A: Tap the palette button (🎨) in the top-right header. You can choose from preset palettes or create your own custom color scheme with the palette creator.
Q: How does the hint system work?
A: After 10 seconds of inactivity, the game will highlight possible merges to help you. If there are no valid moves but you have power-ups available, the power-up buttons will pulse to remind you.
Q: Does my game progress get saved automatically?
A: Yes! Your game automatically saves when you background the app or close it. When you return, you'll resume exactly where you left off. Game progress is stored locally on your device. If the app is deleted or your device is reset, progress cannot be recovered. We recommend using iCloud backup for your device to preserve app data.
Q: How do I turn off music or sound effects?
A: Use the audio control buttons at the top of the game screen:
- 🔔 Quiet Mode - Disables celebration messages
- 🎵 Music - Toggle background music
- 🔊 Sound Effects - Toggle game sounds
- 👆 Haptics - Toggle vibration feedback
A toast notification will confirm your selection.
Q: Can I compete with friends?
A: Yes! SuperFusionGrid integrates with Game Center. Sign in to Game Center to access leaderboards and achievements, and compete with players worldwide.
Q: The app crashes or freezes. What should I do?
A: Try these troubleshooting steps:
- Force close the app and restart it
- Restart your device
- Check for app updates in the App Store
- Ensure your iOS is up to date
- If issues persist, contact support (see below)
